About Me!

I am a senior at Harvard University, studying Computer Science and Environmental Science. My interests lie broadly in using robotic systems, computer vision, and machine learning to improve human interactions with our planet and create a more resilient world under a changing climate. I am particularly interested in studying how to improve autonomy and vision in robotic systems in order to create more robust field robots. Check out my research here!

Currently

I am currently an undergraduate researcher at Harvard’s REACT Lab, working to improve autonomous coordination for multi-robot systems in communication-constrained environments, with a specific application to Project CETI. I am also studying the use of deep learning to analyze the impact of climate change on housing inequity at the Climate & Sustainability Impact Lab within HBS’s Digital Data Design Institute.

I hold a patent for Aquabot, a surface water robot for testing and monitoring water contamination in public waterways and drinking sources, which I developed over the course of three years.

Previously

I was previously a computer vision intern at Evolv Technology, in which I used deep learning to address the occlusion problem to better interpret threats for a cutting-edge security technology.

I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA, where I studied how to improve robots and intelligent systems by learning from human interaction types as a research intern at the Human and Robot Partner’s Lab within Carnegie Mellon’s Robotics Institute. I also worked as a computer vision intern at the Pittsburgh-based startup Near Earth Autonomy, where I helped to develop a universal data pipeline and visualization system for their autonomous UAV mapping systems.

More

I am passionate about outreach and cultivating a community of women in robotics. I currently lead the outreach team for Harvard’s Women in Computer Science organization, where we host workshops to help expose middle and high school students around the world to computer science and robotics. We also partner with local schools in Boston to bring these opportunities directly to students in the area. If you are interested in bringing Harvard WiCS to your school, please reach out to me!

In my free time, I am a DJ for WHRB, Harvard’s Radio Broadcast, and enjoy chatting about the latest in music, movies, podcasts, and books.
